5 days left...

with only 5 days left...i am super excited but when i think about it, it will be so damn hot out i may just continue this routine...i have kinda spoiled myself in this climate controlled apartment.

also in the cool news department, i got asked to do a wedding cake! very cool at the same time...it's gonna be quite a task...i am gonna be making a lot of sample from here until then...so much cake...i am keeping my fingers crossed and my rolling pin ready...i am ready to rock this!

well...2 days left. awesome!

in my "time out" i have been playing ALOT of ps3 (gamertag "scumbagINJUN" if you wanna be my friend) and that is about it. big thanks to my japanese saviors! i would be bored beyond belief if it wasn't for my ps3...which also took away from my time to post anything.

aside from everything i am really looking forward to eating at a restaurant...yes, my world revolves around food. i am also gonna visit my folks up north...

woo hoo!

10 more days left...also looking forward to cooking a little something for my amazingly awesome cousin miss riggs.

day 2

nothing new...in class, i got to cook meat and veggies again...i missed that, not that pastries are bad but i get really happy when i get to cook food that make a complete meal...

the home suspension thing is fine...i'd rather do this than sweat it out in tent city with the 100 degree temps lurking around the corner...

i did get alot of reading done...3 books (that's alot for me...)...kitchen confidential, the soul of a chef and the best short stories of 2009...all very excellent books.

time to sleep...2 down...28 to go...

day 1

today i begin a 30 home suspension. i was stupid and got a dui. i also finished up a 15 day stay at the wonderful place known as Tent City. if you have the unfortunate luck of staying at Tent City...lemme give you a few pointers...

1. bring only 1's...up to $40 and don't be an idiot thinking they got casino style change machines in there...you will want something to snack on especially with the food there.

2. don't bring a hoodie...no hoodies allowed unless it is summertime then leave it at home.

3. be prepared to have a looooooooooooooong processing in...i have heard up to 12 hours...luckily my processing lasted only 6 hours. be patient.

4. you will shit across from someone else...be prepared for akward moments.

5. bring a book...you are not going anywhere...might as well read something interesting.
