well i have had a few eventful days.
1st. Big Brother and I enjoyed a brotherly day at the Aloha Festival at the Tempe Townlake. usually it is held at the Phoenix Downtown area but this is a very nice upgrade.
have had Hawaiian food i a while so it was a nice change.
2. got all my junk from the marines. so much junk and it all smells so terrible.
3. finally got my AZ unemployment benefits approved. very nice. next couple of months are gonna be weird. no job but still getting money? how weird.
4. big brother is going to become a self employed individual. check it out because it is gonna be something very good.

willy in philly
so i left for philly for a baby christening. my boy jay and his wife emily invited me to share in the joy. how could i say no. first of all...round trip from phoenix to philly for only $183!? i gotta do this more often! it was gonna be one hell of a time. i could feel it in my bones.
so i seen this on my way to the plane...i found it a little fishy and funny...
i always try to get this shot...not a bad effort on this one.
i always like the part of take off where everything just get smaller and smaller. oops! i forgot i was supposed to turn this thing off...next stop. dallas.
i always liked dallas. such a nice airport and the best welcome of any airport for returning military from a deployment. i love you dallas.
i look lost...i kinda am.
just smile and keep walking you lug...
love the large hallways with lots and lots of windows.
excuse while i ruin the view for you.

airport trams are the best...take note phoenix...
i am beginning to wonder if i have a best side at all?
i would say no...but i am having such a good time just playing around on the tram. woo hoo! come'on and smile damn you.

i thought this was cool...the phillies, the flyers, the eagles and the sixers. all in one area. very cool.
center street...and town hall...wow!
more town hall and some amazing cathedral...and on top of town hall is william penn himself who is about 37 ft tall. also jay, if you read this...william penn is about 548 ft up...so you were closer than me. thank you wikipedia. enough history, i gotta get a cheese steak! onward!
sure i look cool, but i am frozen to the bone! the temp high in philly isn't even close to phoenix's low! holy shit it is cold!
AHHHHHHH! pat's cheese steaks are amazing...eat it up folks...i know i will. this is my first time i had a cheese steak with cheese whiz. very cool. very different. very delicious!
i wanted to get a room for myself but my bank had a weird breach in their security system...so there went my card. shit! luckily for me i had another good friend in town...tommy pace...tommy and i had some good time in hawaii where we had a bunch of hi jinx. so i dropped off my stuff at his friends place and we went out to west chester, pa. i got separated and ran into people who have never met a full blooded indian EVER. the natural thing to do is...buy me a drink of course!
drink after drink...i wound up getting tossed in because i had no idea where i was, where my friends were and i was smashed off my ass. in case you are wondering, it is a $373.50 fine if this happens to you in west chester, pa.
after a sobering night in the drunk tank, i got released to my smiling friends and i went directly to the showers and then to the christening...almost forgot about that. interesting thing about that...my boy was told to tuck in his shirt, he asked me to help him which wound up with me having to carry his gun that he forgot he was carrying. this is my 2nd time in my life ever being in a church. i can proudly say have had a gun on me 50% of the time.
ceremony was nice...now it's time to drink again. let's do it!
i just wanted to fit in with all the middle easterners...so i blend, yes!?
the philly beer. do not pronounce it the way it is spelled...call it ying ling. it is pretty damn good.
i can't drink this until i hear billy d. williams say something good about it again...
ahhh...old reliable. you can never go wrong with pbr!
but with a selection like this? how can you not try them all...tonight is gonna be fun!
round 2 is over. i am not in jail. it was a good night. let's go see some sights!
